Ciaran Mullooly will take on the role of Just Transition Tourism Activator for Longford County Council.
He'll work with similar representatives in local authorities in Laois, Offaly and Westmeath, in a bid to encourage people and businesses to apply for a €17m Just Transition fund in the region.
