Three teenagers and a man in his 40s were involved.
Four people have been arrested following a public disturbance incident.
Gardaí attended the scene on Barrow Quay in Athy on Tuesday morning, at around 1.15am.
A man in his 40s and a male teenager have been charged and appeared before Athy District Court on Tuesday.
Two other male teenagers were also arrested, but have since been released without charge, and a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
