Family Carers in the Midlands are being encouraged to take part in free dementia training this evening.
This in person programme, delivered by the Alzheimer Society of Ireland, aims to support and empower family carers through practical information, emotional support, and a person-centred approach to caregiving.
The seven week course is delivered by expert ASI tutors and offers practical guidance on understanding dementia progression, strengthening communication, managing daily routines, and accessing essential supports.
The event takes place from the Athlone Springs Hotel from 7:00pm this evening.
