Offaly's Emily O'Reilly is in a office that's now entirely female.
The European Ombudsman says there was a certain level of condescension surrounding her, after she became the first woman to take the role.
Offaly's Emily O'Reilly has been in the job for just over 10 years, following a career as an award winning journalist.
She says when she first entered the office, the management was largely male dominated, and currently it's entirely female.
Ms O'Reilly says as her knowledge level rose in the job, most of the sexism faded:
