The funeral mass of a Westmeath member of the Defence Forces who died in service is due to take place this week.
Lieutenant Conal Sheeran, from Athlone, was found in an unresponsive state by his colleagues in Casement Aerodrome on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old joined the Defence Forces in 2012, and was an Officer in the Air Corp.
He's being remembered as a 'true gentleman who had time for everyone.'
Lieutenant Sheeran's funeral mass is due to take place at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan tomorrow at 12pm.
