The Garda National Youth Awards are taking place on Saturday from 12pm in the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise.
People aged between 13-21 will be recongised at the event, for their positive contributions to the community.
Awards in a number of categories such as Individual, Special Achievement, Group, Community Safety and Special Recognition are up for grabs.
The ceremony in its current state first took place in 2019, and was established by Garda Commissioner Drew Harris.
