Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a house fire in Laois.
A home in Bridget's Place in Portlaoise has been significantly damaged after the blaze which took place at around 4am in the early hours of this morning.
There were no injuries in the incident as the house was unoccupied at the time.
Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time is being asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station.
