The incident occurred last Saturday night.
Gardaí are looking for witnesses to a hit and run in Offaly.
The two-car collision happened on the Dublin Road in Edenderry at about 9 o'clock last Saturday night.
One driver left the scene but later presented himself at Edenderry Garda Station.
The driver of the second car was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore with minor injuries.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact gardaí.
