The incident happened in county Laois.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a collision on the N80 at Portlaoise in the direction of Mountmellick yesterday evening.
The incident occurred just before 6:00pm and involved a car and a van.
There were four people in these vehicles. Three men and one woman were taken from the scene to Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
The road is open.
