Gardai are to carry out house searches this morning in connection with a fatal house fire that happened in Edenderry last weekend.
Three premises are being investigated in Offaly and Kildare by the Serious Crime Unit and the Laois/Offaly Garda Division, helped by Gardai from the Kildare/Carlow Division.
They are being supported by national units in the search including the Special Tactics & Operations Command and the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Gardai are continuing to appeal to the public, and are urging them to reach out to the investigation team in Tullamore Garda Station or Edenderry Garda Station with any information.
