Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred in Laois on Wednesday night, early Thursday morning.

The incident occurred at around 12.30am on Wednesday night, Thursday morning on College Avenue in Mountmellick.
A man in his 20s was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have camera or dashcam footage to come forward.
