Gardaí are investigating the attempted armed robbery of an off-licence in Offaly.
Two men - own armed with a knife - entered the store on JKL Street, Edenderry at about 3.30 yesterday afternoon.
However, a member of staff triggered a fog deterrent system and the robbers fled the scene.
No property was stolen and no injuries were reported.
Anyone who may have seen anything is asked to contact Edenderry Garda Station.
