Gardaí are investigating incidents of criminal damage three buildings in Laois.
A Bank of Ireland and AIB branch in Lyster Square were among the premises targeted, while the offices of Fingleton White on Bridge Street were also damaged.
All three locations were spray-painted with similar graffiti between the hours of 6am-8am on Wednesday morning.
Gardaí in Portlaoise have confirmed to Midlands 103 that they are pursuing a definite line of inquiry in connection with the criminal damage incidents, with the suspect being a man in his 60s.
