Gardaí Investigating Two Midlands Burglaries

Both burglaries took place on Saturday night, early Sunday morning.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to two separate burglaries in the midlands.

The back door of a home was forced open in Edenderry on Saturday, between eight in the evening and midnight.

€500 worth of jewellery was stolen in that incident.

A small sum of cash was also stolen from a home in the Drumcooley area of Edenderry, after someone gained entry through a window on the same night, between 8 in the evening and 2am on Sunday morning.

Anyone with any information is being asked to contact Tullamore Garda Station.
