A drone and a number of items were seized by Gardaí.
Two men have been arrested in connection with a drone flying in close proximity to the Midlands and Portlaoise Prisons.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening, the men in their 30s and 40s were detained at a Garda Station in the Laois-Offaly Division.
