The incident happened last Saturday afternoon through a number of areas in Laois.
Gardaí are appealing for information on an dangerous driving incident in Laois.
It involved a black 2008 Seat Ibiza travelling at speed from Rathdowney to Donaghmore and Ballyquaid last Saturday June 1st between 2:15 and 2:35 pm.
It later became involved in a traffic pursuit with Gardaí from Shanboe to Ballybrophy, before returning through Donaghmore and colliding with another vehicle at Grantstown.
The occupants fled the car after the crash, with three individuals arrested shortly afterwards.
Gardaí are appealing to those who witnessed the vehicle along this route or suspicious activity in the areas mentioned, or anyone with Dash Cam footage to contact Abbeyleix Garda Station, the Garda Confidental Line or any Garda station.
