Nine dogs have been stolen in a Laois burglary.
Gardaí are investigating the incident, which occurred at a premises in Ballybrophy, Borris-in-Ossory, in the early hours of yesterday morning, between midnight and 6.30am.
Six black terriers, two brown terriers and a black lurcher with four 'white socks' were stolen during the course of the burglary.
Officers are appealing for witnesses, particularly those with camera or dashcam footage, to come forward.
