A man in his 80s and a woman in her 70s were taken to Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore.
Gardaí in Laois are renewing their appeal for information after a suspected hit and run incident left two elderly in hospital with serious injuries.
A man and a woman in their 80s and 70s were brought to Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore after being involved in a two car collision near Ballinakill.
The incident took place at around 10.15pm on Friday July 31st.
The driver of the second car failed to remain at the scene and is being sought by Gardaí.
Road users who were travelling in the vicinity of the L7797 road in Ballinakill between 10:00pm and 11:00pm and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
