People are falsely offering to spray a house to protect it against covid-19.
Gardaí are urging homeowners to be careful after individuals offered to disinfect properties in Laois.
It follows reports of three males in a white van in Portlaoise, trying get people to hand over money to get their house sprayed to protect against covid-19.
The Laois/Offaly Crime Prevention Officier is encouraging people to speak to their family and neighbours about these scams and to contact your local garda station with any concerns.
