A fusion of art and environmentalism is being launched in Westmeath today.

Luan Gallery is hosting 'Garden to Gallery Couture' a photography exhibition by local artist Chris Burke.

The exhibit is officially launching today at 4:30pm and is running until August 10th.

The showcase highlights costumes designed by Westmeath children during sustainability-themed workshops as part of Cruinniú na nÓg.

Inspired by wildflowers and native plants, the costumes were modeled and professionally photographed.

Admission is free, and group tours can be arranged through the gallery.
