General Election Candidate Goes On Pre-Planned Holiday A Week Out From Polling

Sinn Fein's Kildare South candidate Patricia Ryan had the trip booked before the election was announced.

Sinn Fein's candidate for Kildare South has gone on holiday for the week leading up to polling day. 

According to Laois Today - Patricia Ryan had booked the pre planned trip before the election was called and will be back before the weekend. 

Ms.Ryan was elected as a councillor in May's local elections and apologised for missing a number of engagements locally over the weekend. 

She will be on the ballot for over 10,000 people in the Portarlington and Ballybrittas areas in the upcoming election.
