The Arts Minister is meeting with campaigners today to see if concerts and gigs can resume.

The Government is considering banning the sale of alcohol at music events in a bid to allow more people attend.

Westmeath musician Tom Sheerin says it's a possibility - to help get the music industry going again.

A member of the Sheerin Family Band, he says they'd hoped to be back on the road by now.

He says the industry as we know it will change drastically and we'll have to adapt to covid:
