Over €4m is being sent to Sport Partnerships across the country.
Almost half a million euro is being invested in community sports and physical activity initiatives in the midlands.
The Department of Culture, Communications, and Sport, and Sport Ireland has announced that over €4m in Dormant Accounts Funding is to be invested nationally.
Laois will receive €205,000, while Westmeath is set to get €119,000.
Offaly will receive €110,000.
