Government 'Could Have Listened To Green Party Sooner'

That's according to a midlands Green Party councillor.

A midlands Green Party councillor says the government 'could have listened to her party sooner.'

Green Party policies such as the Cost Rental scheme and the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant have been passed in the last year.

Westmeath Councillor Louise Heavin says she endorsed her party going into government with Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael, despite knowing the policy failures of the previous coalition.

But, she says the government don't want to see people homeless:
