The Regional Independent group of TD's are to be invited in the coming days to engage in formal talks on the formation of a new Government.
Its understood Fianna Fail and Fine Gael will also open formal discussions with the group, which includes Offaly TD Carol Nolan, and Longford Westmeath rep Kevin 'Boxer' Moran.
Negotiations on a new programme for Government will continue today.
