Locals in a village turned out to oppose the delivery of modular homes last week.
The Government is being labelled a 'disgrace' for its handling of a protest in a Westmeath village.
Residents in Coole turned out to oppose the delivery of 18 unsanctioned modular homes on Friday, which were to be based on the site of an asylum seeker accommodation centre which is already housing 100 International Protection Applicants.
The State has been adamant the homes weren't contracted by the Department of Integration.
