Government Needs "Wake-Up Call" About State Of Health Service - INMO

740 patients are on trolleys in hospitals around the country today.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says the Government, HSE and hospital groups need a wake-up call about the state of the health service.

740 patients were waiting to be seen at the country's hospitals this morning.

24 people are on trolleys around the midlands today - 15 of those are in Mullingar, with the remaining nine in Portlaoise.

Figures show the busiest was University Hospital Limerick with more than 100 people on trolleys.
