Columb Barracks: Government Departments Accused Of 'Not Working Together'

Various government departments have been accused of not working together during the process of accommodating refugees at a former midlands army barracks.

The lack of consultation regarding plans to house 120 male asylum seekers in tents at Columb Barracks in Mullingar has once again been a topic of criticism.

Longford Westmeath TDs Robert Troy and Peter Burke met with Integration Minister Roderic O'Gorman to raise the concerns of the local community.
