Over 70 Ukrainian refugees are still in tents at the site.
A Fianna Fáil TD is criticising government policy when it comes to the accommodation of refugees in a midlands town.
The Department of Integration confirmed earlier this week nearly 150 Ukrainian refugees and International Protection Applicants are staying in tents at Columb Barracks in Mullingar.
The State say they don't know for how long the arrangement will continue.
Longford Westmeath TD Robert Troy says he's been long opposed to using tents over the buildings on site.
