Government’s Long Awaited Housing Strategy Criticised By Sinn Féin

The new housing plan aims to build 300,000 homes by 2030.

Sinn Fein is describing the government's new housing plan "as disappointing."

The 'Delivering Homes, Building Communities' plan, launched yesterday, details plans to build a minimum of 300,000 new homes by 2030.

The long-delayed plan outlines the State’s commitment to deliver 72,000 social homes.

Deputy Sorca Clarke isn't a fan of the scheme. 

She says the government is wasting their chance to get to the bottom of the issues surrounding housing:
