Grants Supports Aren't Doing Enough For Westmeath Businesses - Robert Troy

Deputy Troy wants the Enterprise Minister to address the issue.

Measures introduced by the Government are costing a Westmeath business €155,000.

That's the view of Longford Westmeath Fianna Fáil TD Robert Troy, who's urging the Enterprise Minister to support businesses like Wholesome Kitchen in Mullingar.

While a grant of €3,500 is available to the company, Deputy Troy wants to see the VAT rate split between food and accommodation.

He's calling on his government colleague, Longford Westmeath TD Peter Burke, to intervene:
