It's claimed that, under the current system, children are left waiting years for therapies.
Waiting times for children's health services are only getting worse.
That's according to Laois councillor Willie Aird who is lobbying the Health Minister to review the issue.
Children with disabilities in the midlands hoping to access psychology, physiotheraphy, speech & language and occupational therapies could be waiting years under the current system.
