Over 60 events and projects to choose from.
Heritage Week with a difference has kicked off in the midlands.
People are encouraged to get out or online, to embrace the history, creativity and nature of our local area.
With covid-19 still in our midst, a lot of this year's events have been moved online.
This is especially the case in Offaly and Laois, which are facing those localised restrictions.
31 events and resources are available in Westmeath - including an introduction to archaeology for kids and the new walking tour app for Mullingar.
A look at the legacy of the famous Bronte family in Banagher and a history of local workhouses are among 24 projects organised in Offaly.
And you can discover the flora of the Slieve Blooms or the stained glass masterpieces of Abbeyleix, along with 10 other events in Laois.
Heritage Week runs until this Sunday 23rd.
