Minister O' Donovan has expressed his concern for third-level institutions across the country.
The Further and Higher Education Minister says he's 'very concerned' with student accommodation at TUS Athlone and other third-level institutions around the country.
The State invited Technological Universities to submit proposals for student housing earlier this year, with vacant properties and options for new developments on the table.
It's understood TUS Athlone has land ready to be developed and to provide accommodation for students.
