Holocaust Victims Being Remembered At Event in The Midlands

Vicitms of the Holocaust are being remembered at an event in the midlands today.

A silver birch tree is being planted and students at the National Learning Network in Portlaoise is reading a poem written by a survivor at the ceremony.

The event comes ahead of the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust, which takes place tomorrow.
