Homeless Charities Disagree With Dublin City Council CEO Comments On Tents

There's been both political and social media backlash to his views.

A midlands based homeless charity say tents can provide those without a home some piece of safety. 

It's after Dublin City Council CEO Owen Keegan said tents should be banned, while there are beds available in hostels.

Mr. Keegan also said tents add to the 'perception' that Dublin city is 'too edgy'.
