A national water conservation order is now in effect until August 26th.
A hosepipe ban for the Midlands comes into effect this morning.
People all across Laois, Offaly and Westmeath will not be allowed to water gardens, fill paddling pools or wash their cars.
The Water conservation Order will last until the 26th of August.
