Hospital Overcrowding Hits Highest Level Since Pandemic Began

21 people are waiting on trolleys in midlands hospitals.

Hospital overcrowding has hit its highest level since the start of the covid-19 pandemic, according to the INMO.

There are now 217 patients with the virus receiving care in hospitals, 381 people were waiting on trolleys this morning including 21 across the three midlands regional hospitals.  
 
31 people are in ICU with the virus.
