Mullingar Regional Hospital, has experienced a 40% jump in people on trolleys to 1259, despite the national figures dropping by 5%.
912 are on waiting trolleys in Portlaoise, while 73 is the figure in Tullamore.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, 101,274 patients this year have received care while on trolleys, chairs, or other unsuitable bed spaces in Irish hospitals.
