The latest MyHome.ie report shows property availability in the region continues to decline, dropping by over six percent since last quarter.
Westmeath has the highest number of homes on the market in the region at 276.
Offaly is slight behind at 266, and Laois has the lowest amount of available houses, at 210.
The average cost of a home in the region at the end of the year was €208,000.
