Housing Minister Predicts Falling Midlands Homelessness

Daragh O'Brien was in Portlaoise yesterday.

The Housing Minister says he expects to see another reduction in the midlands homelessness figures today.

The Department of Housing's monthly report in March found 198 people in the region were without permanent accommodation, while nationally that number was nearly 14,000.

The latest report is due to be released this afternoon.
