The HSE outsourcing clinical psychologists would help them reach the required timeframe for disability assessments.

It comes as latest figures from the HSE show children in the Midlands are not receiving their finalised assessments within the legal timeframe of six months.
Only 5% of children in Laois/Offaly were assessed in time, with the figure at 44% in Longford/Westmeath.
Ms Leijen says there's plenty of qualified people in the region who are able to meet the demand:
