The out of hours GP service in Birr has been shut since 2018.
The HSE has confirmed space for an out-of-hours GP service will be provided in Birr.
The Health Service shut the town's Midoc service since 2018, due to concerns about its ability to cope with a medical emergency and the safety of a doctor working alone.
However, the HSE has indicated adequate space will be provided when the new Primary Care Centre is built in Birr.
