HSE Making No Promises To Vaccinate College Students For New Term

CEO Paul Reid says uncertainty of supply could hinder the vaccination of that group.

The head of the HSE says he can't promise third level students will be vaccinated before they return to college. 

It comes as the higher education minister has committed to face-to-face teaching in further education centres next term. 

Speaking in Tullamore Paul Reid says young people have sacrificed a lot during Covid. 

However, a lack of clarity on supply for quarter three means there's still uncertainty for vaccinating younger age groups:
