The HSE is yet to pay a bill of €3,500 owed to Laois County Council for the last four years.
The Health Service is still to pay almost €400,000 in unpaid derelict site levies for properties in Galway and Dublin as well.
The money reportedly owed in Laois is for a building Crettyard, which has produced no further levies after the HSE raised issues with the county council, according to the Irish Independent.
The largest bill is linked to a former nurses’ building at University Hospital Galway where the HSE is being charged €245,000.
The Government has introduced a new 7% tax, to be collected by Revenue, aimed at tackling derelict properties.
