HSE Prepares For 24-Hour Ambulance Work Stoppage

The work stoppage begins at 8am tomorrow morning.

The HSE has a contingency plan in place ahead of ambulance service disruption to the public tomorrow.

EMTs, Paramedics and Advanced Paramedics are engaging in a work to rule today followed by a 24 hour work stoppage beginning at 8am.

The work to rule today mainly affects internal procedures and means there will be limited disruption today.

Athlone's Maeve Kelly was involved in a life threatening crash 10 years ago.
