A Laois TD says he's worried about vulnerable people living in a Midlands nursing home which has seen its license cancelled.

Droimnin Nursing Home in Stradbally is being taken over by the HSE following after a hearing in Portlaoise District Court yesterday.

An interim management and clinical governance framework is being established by the HSE, including the appointment of a Person in Charge.
