A charity hurling match in aid of cancer research is taking place this evening.
The 15th edition of Hurling For Cancer Research fundraiser will be held in Carlow's Netwatch Cullen Park at 7.30pm.
Mark Landers and Jimmy Barry Murphy will manage Davy Russell's team in the charity match with Liam Griffin and Brian Dowling in charge of Jim Bolger's side in the charity game.
Offaly's Brian Duignan, along with the likes of Lee Chin, Con O'Callaghan and the Championship's all-time top scorer Patrick Horgan are among the players taking part.
Liam Hoare, Ben Conneely and Laois' Eoin Reilly have also been included on the substitutes bench.
The event has raised almost €1.9 million for cancer research since it first began.
