ICSA Holding Protest Against Mercosur Trade Deal Today

ICSA President, Westmeath's Sean McNamara is calling for more Government action.

The President of the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association is calling on farmers to protest against the Mercosur Trade Deal. 

Concerns have been raised regarding the effect that beef imports from markets like Brazil may have on domestic farmers.

A protest organised by the ICSA is scheduled to take place at the gates of Leinster House at 11am, with the organisation calling for less talk and more action from the government.
