The European Commission is set to ban Brazilian beef and chicken exports to the EU.
The ICSA President is welcoming the announcement that a total ban on Brazilian beef entering the EU will take effect this Thursday.
The European Commission is set to announce a final decision to remove Brazil from the list of countries authorised to export beef and chicken to the European Union.
The move follows an EU vote in May to exclude Brazil from approved animal and animal-product exporters over food safety concerns.
